Consuming Her invites participants to viscerally experience the first female nudes in mainstream cinema. Visitors are confronted with a ghostly and shimmering video projection of Audrey Munson, the first leading lady to appear fully nude in a feature film. Munson shimmers because she’s entirely comprised of miniature movie clips of other nudes. As you touch her body, associated audio clips resonate in the darkened exhibition space.
